NOW Design Spotlight | COVID-19 Edition

This month we are highlighting a very special collection of projects that are all uniquely responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead of our regular NOW podcast, this month Mark and Kirsten were joined on Zoom by Harriet Wakelam - Director Design Centre at IAG, Mike Biggs - Director of Innovation & Design at Telstra Purple, Rod Farmer - Leader of McKinsey Design, and Ronnie Peters - Creative Director at 360 Design and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies. In this edition, we are shining a spotlight on the rapid response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The collection features an amazing set of projects that show how design-driven companies can provide a rapid response to meet human needs.

Following our original post, I had the privilege to spend an hour with Brian Collins - COO at COLLINS & Karin Soukup - Managing Partner at COLLINS. When the panel was discussing the review, none of us felt comfortable with the idea of it being an 'Award' - but we had to record the session. Brian had the same feeling, so we had a discussion about what it was. Karin suggested that the collection is not an Award, but a Spotlight... So, welcome to the DRIVENxDESIGN NOW Design Spotlight - COVID-19 Edition...
